Job Description
Certified Welder
The welder/fabricator works under the direct supervision of the shop foreman with duties to include but not limited to:
- Fabricate using approved detail shop drawings and pre-qualified welding symbols.
- Read and interpret detail shop drawings.
- Certified to A.W.S. standard.
- Capable of lifting 100 pounds
- Clean, check, and identify his/her welds.
Skills / Requirements
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Layout experience is a plus
All around knowledge of structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication a must.
